Frequently Asked Questions
+ Is therapy really for me?
There is no shame in seeking help, and we believe that taking care of our minds and our emotional wellbeing should be just as commonplace as taking care of our bodies. If you're struggling with excessive worry, negative feelings, sadness, or sleep issues—or just need an unbiased person to listen and provide a new perspective—you are in the right place, and we're here to offer practical tools and strategies so you can get back to feeling like yourself.
+ Do you take insurance?
While we do not participate with any health care providers, many insurance companies offer “out of network” mental health benefits. We provide documentation (a Superbill) with all of the necessary information for you to complete an insurance reimbursement claim should you choose to do so. Full payment for service is expected at the completion of each session and can be made by cash, check, or credit card.
+ Do you prescribe medication?
Though we do not prescribe medication, we are happy to offer referrals if we feel that it can be a benefit to you.
+ How do I get to your office?
Our office is located in the white administrative building, across the street from The Chapel on Jacksonville Road. Parking is available next to the building.
