You’re taking a brave first step...

Reaching out for help isn’t easy, but it’s an important step forward on your journey back to yourself. As a therapist, I am especially passionate about helping others find more joy in their lives, regardless of the challenges that may come their way. Whether you are transitioning to a different life stage or feeling stuck where you are, how you interpret your challenges will directly affect your mood, behaviors, and physiological symptoms. If you are struggling with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, a perinatal mood disorder, or insomnia, or dealing with parenting challenges, I hope you will feel supported as we walk this new road together.

My approach to counseling is largely goal-oriented and solution-focused, and I employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other proven coaching methods to help my clients retrain their brains and overcome inaccurate or irrational thoughts. I believe that no situation is insurmountable, and that by shifting your thought process and perspective, you can radically transform your life and heal wounded relationships.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), and have received training from the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, a PCI Certified Parent Coach, and am Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C). Before starting Framework Counseling Center, I was a member of Summit Medical Group and a psychotherapist with East Orange General Hospital in East Orange, New Jersey. I look forward to meeting you!
